The presenter is good at keeping the audience entertained by making them laugh. She keeps that audiences attention by continuously using good eye contact and using hand movements. She makes the audience feel like they are just having a conversation with her. She used a clicker in order to change from slide to slide, not distracting the audience from the presentation. It gives her the power to keep the presentation flowing good and in context with what she is talking about. The visual element of her slides also keep the audiences attention because they are not just slides of written information. The only bad thing I seen about her presentation is the size of items on the slide make them hard to see.
The fist site i selected to highlight for an example of a data visualization site is www.matthiasdittrich.com. The site shows how data visualization charts can be used in order to present the frequency of music. It is a appealing in a since that when you look at the data it is presented in a visually attractive way. It makes the person who is looking at the data want to look further into what it means rather than just take a quick look.
The second site i choose as an example of data visualization is www.liveplasma.com. It is a site which allows its users the ability to type in a movie or song for example and it will automatically generate a list of others that that person may also like. It is a great tool because it not only does the research for the user, but it also ornateness an awesome looking tree of information. Great site for fun or for work.

I was recently a customer of your automotive shop on Rider rd. in O’fallon, Mo. and was unsatisfied with the service I received. When I walked up to the front counter no one was their and I waited 15 minutes for service. When I was finally helped, the man helping me was rude and acted like he could care less about my wait.
After I got my car in for the oil change and looked at the bill I discovered that it was incorrect. I was charged twice the amount that was advertised on your sign for an oil change. I have attached a copy of my receipt which shows that I was charged twice.

A recent study by Civic Engagement Research Group has proven the stereotype that says that many that play video games are not as socially interactive is untrue. In the study they found that video game players are just as likely to be socially interactive and even help out in the community as non- players. The study also found that many video game players reported that playing a game made them think about a moral or ethical issue. Communication skills of many game players has also improved due to players talking with each other on forums and while playing games. Side impact crashes are very dangerous to children because even cars that have air bags for side impact are not made to protect children. It is important to understand that 1 out of 4 crashes in the U.S. are a side impact crash. Injuries are also more severe commonly in side impact crashes. Eating at a fast- food restaurant can become something of habit for many Americans. When getting home from a long day of work Americans may not feel like making dinner for the family. A common phrase will come up, let’s just grab something tonight. The problem with grabbing something at a fast- food restaurant is that although it is convenient it is not very healthy. The cost is also higher if someone is feeding a family. Sitting down at the table and bonding with the family over a healthy home cooked meal has to be the better choice. America has become a lazy country taking the convenient way out as much as possible.
Plain English as defined by the Sec handbook it not taking out complicated concepts that people may need to make an informed decision about something. It means to make those concepts easier to understand by writing them in a simpler way. The best way to explain a plain English document is by thinking of writing that brought down to its target audiences level and made easy for them to want to read and make informed decisions about what they are reading.

The Sec guide to mutual funds is a perfect example of plain English because they use bullet points making the information more appealing to read which it one of their guidelines outlined in the handbook. They also make key concepts in bold which lets the reader easily know what to place emphasis on. Many of the bold concepts are even defined so the reader can use the definitions for reference while reading.
Fred James and John Healy faced a choice. The choice was one that would affect more than just themselves. It would affect people all across the country. It would affect the health of many in the community as well as the wallets of many in the community. Their company Nutritional Foods Corp. could have been responsible for poisoning several people across the country.
James and Healy faced a choice of destroying there companies reputation for a circumstance that was not for sure the companies fault yet or risking the reputation of their company if they did nothing. It seemed like a lose, lose situation. If James and Healy recalled their items, they could risk public panic which would lead to their stock going down. If they did not do anything they risked lawsuits as well as stock collapsing if the poisons turned out to be due to their products.
They decided to make the choice that may have saved lives but hurt the stock. They recalled the items in question and sent out public notice. In the short term their companies reputation was hurt. How will it fair in the long term?
In the long term they probably made the right choice because their decision shows corporate responsibility. It shows that they care about the customers. It will bring them more business in the future knowing that they handled the crisis like this. It may take time but in the long run James and Healy will realize they made the right choice.
