A recent study by Civic Engagement Research Group  has proven the stereotype that says that many that play video games are not as socially interactive is untrue. In the study they found that video game players are just as likely to be socially interactive and even help out in the community as non- players. The study also found that many video game players reported that playing a game made them think about a moral or ethical issue. Communication skills of many game players has also improved due to players talking with each other on forums and while playing games. These games have even increased teens likely hood to be more influential to others about their beliefs. For the full study findings click here.
